Màrian graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she enrolled a rotating internship. She then moved to the UK as she was offered an ophthalmology internship and followed an ECVO resident at the Animal Health Trust. Màrian then moved to work at the Royal Veterinary College where she was a Lecturer in Ophthalmology and latter was appointed as Head of Service. After over 10 years living and working in England, Màrian decided to move back home. She is now freelancing in the Balearic Islands offering clinical services for mainly dogs, cats and horses. She continues lecturing nationally and internationally aiming to share her ophthalmology knowledge. She is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (DipECVO) and, after completing a postgraduate degree in veterinary education, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
