The Department of Clinical Studies, Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Veterinary Ophthalmology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent veterinary professional degree, be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the Province of Ontario, and be a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology or have completed an ACVO-approved residency-training program. Candidates who are Diplomates of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology are also eligible to apply. Preference will be given to individuals with an advanced degree.
Candidates must have demonstrated research capability. Research of a collaborative or independent nature consistent with the research goals of the Department and College is expected. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in clinical ophthalmology and outstanding teaching, interpersonal and communication skills.
