Joy graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2015. She completed her residency training programme at The University of Bristol and Optivet Referrals in 2021 under the supervision of David Donaldson, Claudia Hartley and Natalia Escanilla Medina. She received her diploma in 2023. She is currently working at Optivet Referrals in Hampshire, UK.
