My name is Christina and I graduated from the University of Hannover (Germany) in 2007. I started to work in an equine hospital and equine private practice for 2 years. Afterwards I changed to a small animal clinic with a focus on ophthalmology. After 3 years I started to prepare a doctoral thesis about cell loss in the retina in normal tension glaucoma in Bochum (Germany). I moved to Zurich (Switzerland) in 2015 to work as an assistant in the section of ophthalmology and now started my residency in October 2016 under supervision of Katrin Voelter and Simon Pot.
I enjoy spending my free time with my family, my friends and with my horses.
